Privacy policy
This policy covers the Sarkari Sevak Android app, package name com.sarkarisevak, and this website. It explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.

Who we are
Sarkari Sevak is operated by Atharva Sabnis, The Marina Torch, Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For anything in this policy, write to support@sarkarisevakapp.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details. Your name, email address and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored as a hash, not as text.
- Your preferences. Education level, state, departments and minimum salary, so the app can filter vacancies for you.
- Saved vacancies. The jobs you bookmark.
- Messages you send us. Anything you write to support, and the email address you write from.
Information collected automatically
- Device and app identifiers. A notification token so alerts can reach your device, and identifiers used to keep you signed in.
- Usage and diagnostics. Which screens are opened, which alerts are tapped, and crash reports, so faults can be found and fixed.
Why we collect it
- To send you alerts for vacancies that match the filters you set.
- To keep your saved vacancies and preferences available when you sign in again.
- To fix crashes and work out which parts of the app are broken or unused.
- To answer your support requests.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to make decisions about your job applications, and we are not a recruiter.
Who it is shared with
Your data is handled by service providers who process it only on our instructions, in these categories:
- Cloud hosting and database, for running the app's backend.
- Push notification delivery, for sending alerts to your device.
- Analytics and crash reporting, for diagnostics.

We also disclose data where the law requires it, for example in response to a lawful order from a court or a government authority.
How long we keep it
Account details, preferences and saved vacancies are kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, that data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records to comply with a legal obligation or to prevent fraud and abuse. Diagnostic and crash data is kept for up to 90 days.
Your choices
- Turn off alerts. Notifications can be switched off in the app, or in your phone's Android settings for the app.
- Correct your details. Edit your profile and preferences in the app at any time.
- Delete your account and data. Use account settings in the app, or the account deletion page, with no need to reinstall the app.
- Ask what we hold. Write to support@sarkarisevakapp.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Sarkari Sevak is for people looking for government employment and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored on managed infrastructure with access limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected users if a breach puts their data at risk.
Vacancy information
Vacancy details in the app come from public government recruitment notices. Always confirm eligibility, dates and fees on the official recruitment portal before applying. Sarkari Sevak is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government department or recruitment body.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify you in the app.
